I really like this. It has a bit of a J-Pop feel.

The site of its creators (http://web.burza.hr/) is also very nice, though built more traditionally with tables.

The new version (tabeless) of web.burza is soon to be released :_)

Congrats on entry! I love the site and it's good to see Croatian designers here.
Svaka cast, ekipa!

Er... is it just me or does this site only have the one page? Sure it's nice and simple layout but a one page site? Someone enlighten me please.

Just been thru it again using all my browsers and yes it's a one page site. There is not a single link other than the email address and two graphics links. (The designers site is nice though) After scanning the page countless times I discovered that the "rollovers" light up the images or vice versa. When you roll over an image it lights up the text a lite but barely noticeable shade of pink which is harder to read than the grey. This is the most un user-friendly website I have came accross and has no thought for the user. I would hate to be in need of a vet if I had to rely on this site to help me out. The clever rollover tricks are pointless. It fails drastically on a text only browser.

Yeah, I would after all agree with Joos: we see a good layout of a single page, but nothing more. The 2-column layout is not new, so the site is by no means a breakthrough neither in design, nor in usability. And the rollovers could've been a bit more obvious, I should say.

It doesn't have to be innovative to be effective, though. The page is friendly, inviting, and easy to look at. The cartoon animals are off-beat and help to make a small emotional connection with the viewer, which is vital. I really like this page because it doesn't leave you feeling cold like the majortiy of site designs do.

It's a good site, but there's too much stuff going on. I like the a:hover pink.

Whoops, sorry, by my last comment I meant the designer's site. I was getting the two mixed up. The site VETInfo is a really well-designed site.

I'd have to agree with Elliot! The site is cute, clean and like he/she (is elliot a surname?) said doesn't leave you feeling cold. The site really doesn't need to be anything more than information that's easy to read. I for one love it.

I like the site, but doesn't that cat look a lot like the napster "cat" or am I the only person who thought that. But anyways, I love ttp://web.burza.hr.
