Hum, this site won a "CSSbeauty" award? Why?

Did you even look at his code?

Not worthy in my eyes. Webstandarsawards.com gave it an award also. Both sites lost my respect today. Not that you care. I have nothing more to say.

First of all, this is not an award website... I post what "I" think is worthy of looking at. Yes I did look at the source code... what's the problem? so it's not perfect... but it does a nice job of using css IMO. and it is very appealing. If you lost respect for our sites, then why don't you start your own css showcase site, and choose what "you" think is worth it.... *sigh*

You know what?! I think it was an excellent choice:) -- a very appealing and unique design that strays from the typical box style of many sites now a days. I can't look at this one and find any source of inspiration but the POP movement of modern art... that's saying something for a website.

...and the codes not perfect, but it's great for what many designers plug out. CSS beauty continues to get my furthered admiration:)

Frozentoast is simple, clean and gets the message across. The only reason that would make me question this entry is that theres not much meat to it. I dont disagree with Alex's decision since this is his site. Also, I checked the code and cant really see anything wrong with it, unless indentation is a crime.

The image of the girl reminds me of the illustration work from vectorize.de/master.html.

I liked the minimal CSS code required to create an effective site which is pleasant to view and use.
