I really like this site. It's dark and you don't see too many of those anymore. It's nice to see someone doing something different.

Nice graphical details, very well done.

I am not a huge fan of the dark colors used; the contract between the background and the text makes it very difficult to read.

nice nav! diggin the graphics and the footage is dope. I also like the decision not to have music, the video takes on a very different quality this way, and is in strong contrast to the dark design of the environment where its displayed.

Id like to see a bit more work with the typography, maybe some h1, h2 image replacements for you headlines using your nav font. I see the choice was made to use web fonts which is good, I just dont think georgia is cutting it for your headlines...

just my 2¢ – excellent work!

the dark bg and light text does not make it hard to read. I'm tired of folks saying that.
'sides...if everyone took the advice to change that, it would make for a lot of dull and boring websites if everything was black on white.

Loved the site! :)

I agree with Thomas...the color contrasts are really bad and I didn't know the navigation was navigation until I hovered over it. Also, "secondary menu"? Hasn't the "secondary menu era" ended yet? I don't think a site requires a "secondary menu." Forgive the overexaggeration : ). I also agree with Clint on the fact that the typography needs a little more work. If these strikingly horrible elements were taken away, I'd say the designer'd have a pretty good site on his/her? hands.

hey everyone!

wow, thats alot of comments i got here..let me see..

i agree i need to work on the typography.. i'm just beginning to toy with it, so, please forgive me. i've actually worked on the text color vs. background color problem quite a few times before, every time there seemed to be a group of people that didnt like it. oh well. i agree the nav needs a bit of work, actually all of it needs a bit of reworking here and there, but this being my first CSS site, having dumped the whole cant-do-it-without-tables ideology, i can say i'm pretty happy with it. i will take a few moments and rethink the design a bit, having everyone's opinon in mind (yes, i have some emails on this too).

sorry for the long yadda-yadda. just thought i needed to make some things clear :)

thank you all for your time and feedback. i really appreciate it.

(and yes, i'm a "he" :)

you have to be pretty blind not to be able to read the text and pretty clueless not to know the navigation is navigation.
