It's a fresh approuch design wise ... not too sure about having the microwave oven above the stove ;p

um...isn't it spelled "Development"?

And relevent should be spelled 'relevant'. Doh! Nothing beats having a good proof-reader!

It's spelled Developement on the signs in the photos too, so it's not the designers fault. Is that an acceptable spelling?

Client wrote copy and did proofing.

The spelling of developement is correct.

Maybe I am biased b/c the designer is my husband, but I'm impressed. I know how much work went into this project. Congratulations on a great design!

The word "developement" is, in fact, an incorrect spelling. The only way that is a "correct" spelling is if it's just part of the name of the company and they purposefully chose to spell it wrong. Such as "dawg" or "laterz". Maybe they are just trying to be cool like that.

The site looks really nice and the css is really nicely laid out. However, the main navigation buttons have a blue bottom border on the hover (windows firefox). I'm sure it's just an inherited property though.

Really like the look of this site.
One problem...the menu seems broken in Opera 7.54, it shifts when mouse pointer hovers, and is missing the dotted underline for the active button in Firefox 1.0.

Very nice! It has warm and rich colors, and although I seriously despise misspellings (mentioned in previous comments), the design aspect is excellent. I would put the navigation bar in a more noticeable spot.

For the record: it's a common arrangement to put the microwave/hood directly above the stove. Nothing wrong with that :)

I can't "tour the house". None of the images show up at all when I click on the numbered buttons...

Firefox 1.0 on win xp.

Dave - I can't seem to re-created what your talking about. I am on a windows machine using firefox 1.0 and have no problem viewing the images in the house tour.

Do you have javascript turn off?

GravatarOn January 16, 2005 7:17 PM Dave P said:

Cody - figured it out... Firefox was set to dissallow Javascript from changing images.

Works fine now.
