Nice and clean. Very sharp graphics and layout. Only thing that bugs me is the type. Too tight or something. Doesnt look as clean as the rest of the site. Other than that, looks great.

What a warm and cozy site. The colors match the topic exactly and the navigation is well-rendered, simple, and functional.

The overall image rendering for this site is fantastic. And the navigation on the right, "Resources for You," is one of the cleverest I've seen.

If I were a herbalist, I would definitely put this site under my favorites; good job!

In my opinion it's one of the best!
I love the colors and the contrast of some of them.
5 stars!

Nice colors, balance, and simplicity for the amount of content and tech used.

But, must every site look like a blog layout to get featured here?

GravatarOn June 22, 2005 9:36 AM Skipp said:

Eric... have you looked throught the archives? many styles. Nothing wrong with a blog looking site aslong as it is well designed.

Nice site but the logo looks like something from the Flintstones cartoon. The spoon looks like a bone. :)

It's not a spoon... It's a mortar & pestle. :)

nice site, but not a great shopping experience

probably my favourite biddlebugs site to date. fantastic colour scheme and layout for the subject. has that earthy feel about it and will appeal greatly to those herbalists. love the deep maroon on the rollovers but not the light-blue so much in the side nav. would expect to see more images of the products for sale, as urabn has hinted the shopping experience is kind of lacking something. but besides this, there is lots and lots of decent content. overall, it's great work. Brian, if you're reading this... the text within 'From our mailbox' occasionally messes up with me, showing strange characters (FF, Win2000).

Thanks for the bug report, Neal. :-) Fixed it.

Color balance, typography and spacing all coordinates very well to create an easy to read and flowing site.
I really enjoyed this one!

Congrats to the creator

Nice, soothing choice of colours and layout. Fits the purpose of the site. The order page, a tad bit long, but still nice.

I have to echo eric's sentiments re: the blog looks. It is also looking more and more like a lot of the sites I see here come out of the same factory... or maybe there are a lot of people being inspired here...

Is that a fully custom ecommerce platform, or something lik osCommerce, modified?

GravatarOn June 28, 2005 6:38 PM Josh said:

Bill, it is a slightly-customized install of Interchange (www.icdevgroup.org).

Urabn and Neal --

You may not see this, but as the developer of the site, I was very intrigued when you mentioned "the shopping experience is kind of lacking something."

I'd really like to know your thoughts. I realize the products have no images presently, but what else did you notice as lacking?
