It's great to see someone else from Maine working the CSS magic. Great site Andrew. Your design is really crisp. I especially like your navigation. Not sure about the links page hover state, but you're from Portland so it's all good.

Beauty Site!

I love the navigation tabs, as well as the desc/comment/exit/card area.

Very well done!

Very nice navigation, except if there was more color it would add a lot of depth.

Yeah boyee, PIMPIN.
This site is pushing the limits of creativity and technical suitability. The front-end design is pixel perfect clean, straight forward, functions and flows nicely.

I disagree with "Preston" and think that adding more color to the navigation deviates from the content. You want your users focused on your content presentation, the photography. If anything at all, you might try a dark brown for the active state in your navigation.

I'm jealous.

hot damn... <24 hrs from launching his new design, and it's already listed here on CSS Beauty.... wow.

that's awesome, man ;)

agree with t'dawg... the emphasis, visually, should be on the photos, not on the navigation (though personally, i think it really looks slick)... which is why the soft colors work so well.

*big thumbs up*

don't forget the fact that this is the SECOND time his site has been listed up here.. it's quite an accomplishment to be up there once, but twice, damn.

nice site, great photos. some problems with LOTS of whitespace in the links section in Firefox. on non-css design points, good to see exif data, very useful if you like photography. also nice use of the search sidebar from the links section, with the useful checkbox gifs, i could easily browse for hours.
