Congrats!

CSS beauty, your comments are fallling over

Thanks for your comments. In regards to the width of the site - I've thought about building sites for 1024 and up for quite some time, but haven't been able to take the plunge, until now. I was finally able to move on after keeping a close eye on my stats, in particular, screen resolution of my visitors. With only 6% under 1024x768, I decided to go a head with a wider site. I really wanted to provide a ton of content right off the top, but wasn't able to accomplish it within 750px.
I do realize that there is no horizontal scrollbar when viewed in 800x600 and I'll try to at least get that happening. Does suck to just have the content chopped off like that.

Once that little bug is ironed out it'll be spot on.

The width consideration is all based upon PERSONAL stats. And with
Great job Matt.

I changed the method of centering to better suit smaller windows and low resolutions. Content no longer gets cut off and a horizontal scrollbar comes into play.

Where did you get those stats that visitors are 6% under 1024x768? If you have the link could you kindly paste it here for me? Every web site i've viewed so far avg about 33% use 800x600.
Thanks in advance.
On November 7, 2005 8:10 AM Matt Brett said:Trevor: The 6% I mentioned before was obtained by my own stats... which in this case, is all that really matters. Since then, it's dropped to 3%.
Beautiful site, by the way.
