Glow around the images - just looks wierd - certainly not 'natural'. There are literally millions of beautiful outdoor stock photos that, with the right crop and no manipulation, would add so much visual richness to the design.
Also, the logo has no space - it looks like it's been shoved in the corner and is 'fighting' for air with the contact details - put them on the contact page - that's what it's for!
The content needs space also - too many different things are brought to your attention in such a small space - this makes me question it being 'very user friendly'.
Now. The horizontal rule - is that a bronze metal clown's shoe??
