I just love fun, energetic, illustration-based portfolio sites. They are such a breath of fresh air to design trends it almost makes me giddy. One of my favorite things about the site is the subtle flicker of the footer logo. Simple, yet a nice added touch.

Job very well done indeed.

Great illustration work, indeed. My problem with it is that the header is so huge vertically. I tend to keep my browser somewhere around 1024x768 and I have to scroll to see the content. This is especially annoying going through the portfolio pages.

very nice!

but... this is new to me: font color transparent(?)

and never mind the scrolling, that's why there are wheels on those mice.

I like it, personally, I am a fan of narrow, long scrolling web pages.

Wah wah woo wah! This site is absolutely magnifico - my first instinct upon seeing it was to mount my monitor and try and make a baby! It's got good markup, interaction, fresh ideas, personality, the animated gif is genius, the layout is splendid, the design, colours - everything! How anyone can use the word 'annoying' in a comment about this site I do not know. 'Every box ticked'.

Now THIS is a sweet site!

Whoa! Thanks for all the kind words!

Lance E. Leonard:
I see what you mean. Maybe I should have internal links to skip the header when clicking next (#header-id)

Thanks, CSS typo removed :)

Thanks, it's nice to get appreciation from a fellow illustrator :)

Nice Illustrations :]

But is it just me or does firefox tabs not work when you're on the site? I'm on

Lovely work. The site is very nice, too.

For some reason Firefox behaves strangely: I can't scroll with the wheel, and sometimes clickimg on any other tab does nothing? (FF 1.502/PC/XP)

I love the graphics, though.

I love it! I am not a fan of flash navigation but I love the site.

remove the flash for nav, flash header and you have a poorly designed typical blog. I dont get it?

I love the flash header. I just dislike flash navigation. Just one mans opinion. But yes even the navigation is pretty.

Hmm...i am able to scroll using the wheel on the mouse but once it reaches the flash portion, it seems to be disabled. That's what i encountered. :)

When will we return to the days when good design was about visual communication skills, audience impact and creativity above adherence to coding standards and the latest DOM bag of tricks (not that I'm against standards or tricky coding, mind you). Maybe we already are seeing this shift. I certainly hope so!

Some poor comments here; the flash usage is appropriate and the animation is a nice detail; a still image would have a lot less character.

I dig the colors a lot, good choices and a tight feel overall. Well conceived; a nice lite package.
