Snook's blog is excellent however his new design isn't, especially compared to his old design. Maybe being popular is a factor you take into consideration before placing a site into the gallery?

I saw the design, I liked it, I listed it... that simple.
being popular has nothing to do with how sites get chosen.

I'd say Snook's blog is an attractive site, certainly well above average, has strong CSS code, and some interesting features that should be of use to those "in need of inspiration".
If you put it into context relative to the other designs in this gallery I think it's certainly worthy of a place, popular or not.

Sorry Snook, love the content but liked your other design much better.

The bright borders on the comment form are a bit too much, maybe tunning them down would help.
Good work snook, congrats on the reboot.

It may not have the initial "zing" that his previous layout had [upon first loading the page], but he's managed to hide little bits of trickiness behind each "corner". The disappearing comment form kept me entertained. The added option to toggle contrast is also another great touch.
