Wow, great looking site!

The feel of it is so appropriate to the subject. I also really appreciate the well-executed use of Flash to examine documents.

To whomever designed and developed this site: well done!

I agree with Dan. This is one of the nicest sites I've seen in a long, long time. The use of flash is fantastic. Great pick.

I completely agree with all the comments, great work, great site!

Very very good. Anyone know who designed this?

This is a beauty. It's so clean I almost feel dirty looking at it!

Nice job.

We did! Thanks for all the great compliments. It was a really fun site to produce.

Oh, and did I mention that we're hiring http://www.cssbeauty.com/jobs/show.php?id=91

I really like it too. One minor complaint is with the arrows in the navigation. Perhaps it would be easier to understand if only the active one had the arrow or the arrows were otherwise less prominent for the non-active state.

That's just a little thing though, I really love it otherwise.

Great design and I love the timelines!

Very nice site. One usability mistake, though: arrows in the timelines are difficult to pick.

Were it not for the introductory sentence on the main page, which sounds a bit strange on my non-American ears, it would be a near perfect web-experience! ;)

Congrats.

Ken,

It's really nice to see south eastern Virginia designers picking up the ball. It's also nice to see Colonial Williamsburg going with a local agency.

Job well done.

Like TS said:

"The Declaration of Independence has been described as the most important document in human history."

Is a bit over the top I suppose ...

Great job.
The design is so balanced.
Allthough I'm not a great friend of flash, the document viewer is great.

Great Site. I like it a lot. VEry clean. Nice color selections and like everyone else has said really like the use of flash for the timeline. God picture selections too, and the worn out effect giving to the pages is very nice, and wasn't too much. I like the use of cursive fonts for the headers making it look like the old writingfrom back then. This site doesn't have a flaw to me.

Wow, very nice design. Great layout and usage of whitespace. I should have looked you guys up when I was living there.

I didn't think there were any other design agencies in williamburg other than the one on jamestown road (which I can't remember the name of).

I like the site a lot as well. One nitpicky thing...You could add overflow: hidden to the links with the negative text indent so you don't get that big ugly outline that stretches to the edge of the page in Firefox.

Great design. I like usage of timeline in effective and attractive way. Everything is made easy and obvious in navigation so noone can be lost in there.
