Very cool. The header graphic has been done before, but it is done well enough in this site for it not to matter.

what the f does it means? the site is pretty nice and clean, but the content is confusing.

GravatarOn January 31, 2006 6:31 AM Eoghan McCabe said:

Yes, I'm also confused. Is it supposed to be funny?

I find the site layout very elegant in contrast with the crazy picts. To me, it works.

I find it interesting that an unfinished site can get featured. Yeah it's pretty and all, but it's not done!

GravatarOn January 31, 2006 9:45 AM Alex Giron said:

George, the only section I see it's not complete is the "links" section.

It's just missing the links...

Other than that it seems pretty complete to me, and worthy of listing ;)

Very nice retro, chic, type of modern, unique thing going on.

Weird and confusing, but I like it!

Very nice but very wierd indeed, still no clue what this is about.

Links page is non-existent though, brings you to the contact page.

WOW - That's beautiful. I love it. Like everyone else - I have no clue what it's purpose is. Maybe it's just to win design awards. But wow. The color is beautiful.

Looks good once it loads. My guess is that it is about trying to shock bosses, tourists, writers, jazz musicians and others who feel they don't really want to breath the same air or be polluted by or share the same culture as the rest of us. And there are so many of these elitists that they can be classed as regulars.

Sorry, but I don't like this. The header is nicely designed but then what? I don't get it. Not just the content I don't get but the emptiness, the lack of detail, the purpose...and the rest of the site besides the header looks unfinished and thrown together.

GravatarOn January 31, 2006 9:57 PM Frank said:

I think it works beautifully for a photography site...

well done!

It's a start to a wonderful project. He planted a seed not a bush. It's a site with room to grow and allows you to think a little-like Peter@4-ever did.

Well done.

I'm with the people who don't know what it is... Very nice (very very nice actually) design but the content is either way over my head or totally meaningless?

I LOVE THIS SITE! Really, there isn't one thing I will change on it; this site is almost perfect (there aren't naked chicks on it, that's why isn't perfect) and I enjoyed very much watching the pictures.

The background it's amazing and the pictures frames are one of the best I saw.

I'm not over reacting, I took too much coffee. Still, one of the best sites I had the honor visiting.

Cheers!
Javier Cabrera

I love this site... the quirkiness of the images is fantastic.

For all of those who said they don't get it, or don't like it, it's ART not everyone does get it and certainly, like all art and design, not everyone has to like it.

And given his other project http://www.snowsuit.net/ has so much life it's good to see him having a little fun with reality.

The site is nice indeed. very clean and crisp. I experienced continued wierdness from the site however. I mangaed to get hold of on of the 50 badges (see the about page on the site). You can see what i got on my blog! http://blog.criticalwebdesign.co.uk/?p=19

The header and footer graphics are fantastic. The photos are surrealistic and it takes not fancy for everybody. I like it, well done job.

So what makes them the regulars? You do give a lot of information about them, but you do not tell us what makes them the regulars. Also, you have not really given us any information about what the qualifications that you take in account that makes them regulars. There are a lot of sites out there that show a list of the “best” or “the high quality” but they do not give us any idea what makes them in this area. There are sites that, however, include this information on them. I feel that these sites are more reliable in their information. I am not saying anything about your site, but I do feel that you might think about including this information when you do a list like this again just to add another level to your site. Also, it adds something to the list that you are having on your site.

The color, the font, the style, they all look great. I’m not sure though if this fits the purpose or goals of the site or company which will carry this header. Would you mind sharing us a little something about The Regulars?

One comment: The color of the background is so soft that it looks like almost dissolving with white. How would you like using more striking colors, say red for font and black for background?
