The navigation is the smallest text on the screen, it autoplays music, it's some sort of frankenstein mix of ultraclean and grunge, etc.
Yikes!

though, I think the band looks great, the website is pretty basic. I really like the look of the top of the page, but I don't know, I think the rest of the page is somewhat too clean...
But that's a subjective opinion and the navigation effect is still very cool.

It's been while since the showcase was updated, but really not worth the wait this time

I think we often forget that even though there are so many outstanding sites on here, I see CSS Beauty as more of a way of showing well-designed sites (which I think this site is) using tableless layouts, CSS, blah blah not just the best of the best. I think the site is engaging enough that someone who visits the site to find our more about the band will scroll down the page and see the different sections so the nav at that point doesn't matter if it is small. I find it no easier or difficult to navigate than http://www.artypapers.com/ which, of course, (most) everyone loves.
From the 'about' section of CSS Beauty:
"CSSBEAUTYâ„¢ is a project focused on providing its audience with a database of well designed CSS based websites from around the world. Its purpose is to showcase designers' work and to act as a small portal to the CSS design community."
