Usually you have really high standards, which is why I really like this blog. But this Four24 you've linked to, is horrid for so many reasons. The navigation is the smallest text on the screen, it autoplays music, it's some sort of frankenstein mix of ultraclean and grunge, etc.
Yikes!

Oh, I must admit I share the opinion of RobotDeathSquad.

though, I think the band looks great, the website is pretty basic. I really like the look of the top of the page, but I don't know, I think the rest of the page is somewhat too clean...

But that's a subjective opinion and the navigation effect is still very cool.

I am very surprised to see this site here. The navigation effect isn't that impressive - hardly new, and while the site is solid enough I hardly think it's worthy of inclusion in a showcase.

It's been while since the showcase was updated, but really not worth the wait this time

I disagree. I think the site is good and serves its purpose. I think we often forget that even though there are so many outstanding sites on here, I see CSS Beauty as more of a way of showing well-designed sites (which I think this site is) using tableless layouts, CSS, blah blah not just the best of the best. I think the site is engaging enough that someone who visits the site to find our more about the band will scroll down the page and see the different sections so the nav at that point doesn't matter if it is small. I find it no easier or difficult to navigate than http://www.artypapers.com/ which, of course, (most) everyone loves.
