Job Description
Acknowledgement is current recruiting for a web developer to join its technical team.
Requirements
- Strong hand-built XHTML / CSS
- Intermediate (1.5 years+) PHP / mySQL
- Demonstrable understanding of user-friendly interfaces
- Basic Javascript
- Basic unix skills
- Photoshop
- At least 1 year in similar role
Advantageous
- Object-oriented PHP
- Intermediate - advanced JS
- Regular expressions
- Basic server admin (apache, mysql etc)
- Subversion
- Good awareness of visual design
- Mac user
Applicants should have strong communication skills, and be happy working in small teams.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working on large projects under a technical lead, and taking responsibility for smaller work.
Applicants called for interview should be prepared to show examples of their work, including front and back end code.

Acknowledgement specialise in web design and build, creative development and online advertising. We are based in Holborn and our clients include AOL, Christies, BBC, United Airlines and Thirdsay.
This is a full time office-based role in Central London.
Salary 18-25k dependent on experience.
