Hmm....hiring for a standards based web developer, we are.

    >>Are table based designs stronger?

    No...no...no. Quicker, easier, more seductive.

    :)

Ok, we're looking for CSS/XHTML/Javascript front-end developers who live and breath standards. No tables here (unless it's tabular data ;) )!. If you like tackling fun, challenging, high profile projects that will be seen by millions of visitors then this may be the right opportunity for you.
Will there sometimes be long hours?
Yes of course, sometimes the deadlines are tight but that's why you have a great personality and are a team player so when our team's together in the trenches for long hours together, we don't kill each other. But when a project is done we'll have a party, enjoy the view, and look forward to the next project wiser and stronger than before.

We're a fun, thriving dot-com with a great work environment and plenty of growth in our future, so if I've sparked your interest drop me an email with your resume and a nice portfolio of sites developed and we'll talk :)

akirmse *_at_* zappos *_dot_* com (I'm probably gonna get a ton of spam but hey what the hell! :))

Isn't Zappos the shoe site? Is the job for Zappos? Or is it for other jobs?

The job is for Zappos (but we do much more than just that site....which uses a lot of deprecated font tags and tables....*shudder*)
