    So we all use them, but do we really know what are we doing.
    I've chatted with some friends that were saying they just download stuff of the net and start using them, they have some nice collections of fonts, even though they have not always got copyrights for them.

    What about U? what do u do to have your fonts ok, and where do you get them from?

    You can use them for images, not for text. People don't have them installed.

    I use www.dafont.com a lot...

    Very usefull fonts to create logos, tshirts and fakes ;)

    SpookyET is right. I use some nice fonts for simply logos and titles on headers, but not for text. use them, only if you want make useless page.

    by the way, I download them(fonts) from www.dafont.com . there are a lot ... and very nice too ;)

    but does any of you guys take the time to create fonts speciffic for a web-site?

    I make websites, not fonts... so no, I don't make website specific fonts...

    www.abstractfonts.com is good IMO.

    I'll also suggest you to have a look to 25 licence-free quality fonts and 15 licence-free pixel fonts on alivt.de, home of the Web developer's handbook.
