So I finally learned about CSS hacks to overcome the MANY shortcomings of IE's rendering of a site I just started and what do you know? Now Safari for Windows is causing me problems. There's an inexplicable 20-25px margin/padding at the bottom of all my pages just before the "footer" div and I'm furious! Any suggestions?

P.S. This gap is the same color as the container div background which I can't change for aesthetic reasons.

Hello dk_design can you give me a link to that webpage? If you have any div inside main div with float left or right make sure your footer div is float:left in CSS, that fix pading/margin/empty space after main and before footer...
