Server Side Scripting / Coding: How do I redirect to a mobile site?

    Hi

    I've noticed several bigger sites redirect to a mobile site when I visit them on my iphone.

    How is this done?

    I'd like to implement something similar to my site and got an idea on how to do it with a javascript redirect, but I'd like to avoid any javascript redirection if at all possible.

    Can this be done somehow server side with PHP? Is there an quick easy script or does it require a more elaborate coding solution?

    I wasn't planning on using wordpress, but I could use it just as an engine if needed.

    hmmm getting this error when accessing on mobile. I've contact one support maybe they can suggest something.
