How much do you usually charge for high-quality CSS/XTML approximately 10 pages website, with simple technical part like mailing form.
I mean some small business website with strong corporate identity.

I am web-designer myself, running my own webdesign company. I am from Russia but live very close to Norway and planning to work with norwegian webdesign market.

So, I just want to be aware of existing prices :)

Depends on the client, $1,000.00 minimum (low-maintenance client) and up to $3,500.00 (if you think the client can swing it and demands more attention to detail). I am assuming with the CSS/XHTML you are including some IA work, branding and visual design concepts.

You mean your work include full package (corporate identity + css/xhtml website)?

Yes. Typically with regard to corporate identity (if they are a small client) all they typically expect is a logo and EPS version (no stationary work). Most times with these small clients (10 page or less sites), they have a logo, but it needs to be reworked and sometimes even recreated.

There was a similar post 6 months ago on request for sample proposals. I showed this PDF link and you might find it helpful as well. Example of how I invoice a small project at $3,500.00. http://marylandmedia.com/martin/templates/proposal.pdf

    Hi Horisont!

The prices are different for each market "mringlein" based in Washington DC leaving coast is very expansive there so prices are higher. I have no idea what is the Norway market is but since you not based in Norway you can't charge local prices for your projects and I doubt anybody would pay you local prices since you located in a different country.
In a lot of situations you have to deal with a clients face to face and have regular meetings so you shouldn't expect paid the same as local designers located in Norway.

    Best, DS
